Relaxing Getaway

The cabin was the perfect size for the two of us. Everything we needed was available from kitchen utensils to neutral but great smelling body products. The owners were very helpful and responsive to all of our questions. We can't wait to return for another stay!

Nice *remote* cabin with many amenities

We enjoyed our stay at bear creek cabin. There were plenty of small touches that made this a comfortable stay and experience. The kitchen was fully stocked with plates, utensils, mugs, a coffee maker, dishwasher, and a small pantry and spice collection. There were plenty of birds around the premise including the adorable California quail. Highly recommend binoculars if you are a bird watcher. A couple of pain points include the shower in the main bedroom bathroom being slow to drain. The hot tub circuit breaker also tripped several times and we needed to reset it to get it warming up again. One thing that’s not the cabins fault is the distance from almost everything. Grocery is a 20-30 minute drive and Yosemite is an hour to the entrance and then another hour once you’re in the park to most of the main attractions. If you’re booking this place to visit the park I would honestly recommend booking something inside the park. If you want a nice cabin with plenty of amenities in the remote areas of California with plenty of bird watching, or you’re ok driving two hours to Yosemite, I would highly recommend the bear creek cabin.

Respite from Yosemite park

We were delighted with our stay at the log cabin. It was clean and provided all that we needed. The property was so fun. From the fire pit (which we didn't use due to the high fire warnings) horseshoes, hottub, and all the walkabout space it was relaxing and provided us with a home from which to explore Yosemite. We saw deer, the cutest ground squirrel and the marching quail were comical. We would highly recommend this property!
